In this story Abby sees some older kids playing pranks on dogs by tying tin cans to their tails and chasing them down the street. Abby's mom and dad see this and they are not too happy so her dad decides to teach her why it's not nice to be mean to animals. So he takes her on a trip into the country and points out the different animals that live there and how nature is unique and sometimes magical. Of course Abby gets the last laugh.
